How to read this table

RPM is what a creator earns for every 1,000 views after YouTube's share, counted over all views, including the ones that showed no ad. Each range is for an English channel whose viewers are mostly in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Low and high span the credible published range. Typical starts from measured medians where they exist, pulled toward the middle of the planning ranges.

Evidence says how solid each row is. Strong: measured on many channels. Medium: measured on a small sample, or several estimates that agree. Soft: planning estimates, vendor claims or reasoning.

Where viewers live moves RPM a lot: a view from India pays about 5% of a US view and one from Germany about 55%. Video length, how much of a video people watch, how many views show an ad and the time of year move it too. Each niche page explains these with the numbers.

Estimates, not payouts: only a channel's owner can see its real earnings in YouTube Studio. To estimate one channel from its own views, audience and video lengths, paste it below.
